The Savannah Bananas are excited to release the schedule for their 2018 season. The team’s third season will begin on Thursday, May 31st with a highly-anticipated game against new in-state rival, the Macon Bacon.

Macon is new to the Coastal Plain League, but the two teams have already begun a social media battle, with fans from both cities stating their loyalty. The Bananas began the rivalry with a video encouraging people to “stop the sizzle.” The video was picked up by news stations across Georgia and national sports media website, Barstool Sports.

There will be several opportunities to see the two teams compete, including June 21st, July 7th, and July 31st.

In addition to rivalry games, popular promotions including fireworks nights, Thirsty Thursday, Salute the Troops, and Faith & Family Night will be back. The team will also celebrate Independence Day with a fireworks extravaganza on July 3rd. The full promotional schedule will be announced in Spring 2018.

The Bananas have sold out 32 straight regular season games. Last year, all home games sold out in advance. Fans are highly encouraged to join the 5-Game Plan wait list on to have the opportunity to attend the biggest games of 2018. The Bananas will play 26 games at Grayson Stadium in 2018, with the regular season ending on August 4th.

Five-game plans will go on sale to our wait list first. The public will have access to tickets for the biggest games beginning November 15th. More information can be found at or by calling (912)712-2482.
