The Savannah Bananas will be holding the biggest Memorial Day party in Savannah at Grayson Stadium. Fans are invited to attend the fourth annual Fan Fest from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Monday, May 27th.

This event is free to attend, family-friendly, and open to the public. Last year’s Fan Fest had over 2,000 fans in attendance, excited to kick off the Bananas’ season.

Fan Fest offers Savannah a chance to meet the 2019 players and coaches before the season begins, including head coach, Tyler Gillum, and returning players like Mason Miller and Bill Leroy. They will be available for autographs and photos through the evening. The team will also be showcasing their skills on the field with batting practice and a home run derby.

Fans will be able to enjoy the Bananas’ All-You-Can-Eat concessions – burgers, hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, popcorn, Byrd’s cookies, soda, and water for free. There will also be specialty beverages, wine, and beer available for sale.

Fans will also get their first preview of the entertainment planned for 2019. The famous Banana Band will be performing as well as popular promotions going on throughout the event.

“We’re just over a week away from opening night, but Fan Fest is always one of our favorite events of the year. It’s like a family reunion for Bananas fans,” said Jared Orton, Bananas team president.

There will also be plenty of activities to keep kids of all ages entertained.  Kids will be able to play in the Sun Country Amusements Kids Zone at no cost. They will also have the opportunity to run the bases and play catch with the Bananas.

Tickets for the Bananas’ seven remaining available games will be available for sale at the event. The Banana Stand will also be open for fans to purchase new gear for the season.

Opening Night is on Thursday, May 30th.  For more information on tickets or Fan Fest, visit or call (912)712-2482.
